Our Review

There is no getting away from it Eben has a lot of disadvantages compared to the other resorts in the area.  Its height, its size and its rather old lifts would, to some, make it a no go area.  However the runs in Eben are beautiful, wide, tree lined slopes ideal for cruising especially with learners or for a family.  It has great views across the valley over to the Flachau slopes and a couple of nice bars too.  In addition Eben is due to get a new 7.5m Euro 6-man chair lift for the 2008/9 season (replacing the top drags) so we would definitely recommend that you give it a go.

Getting There

It's a 10 min drive from Flachau, just one stop down the A10 motorway towards Salzburg.  There are also daily buses from the 8-er Jet in Flachau...usually 2 there in the morning and 2 back in the afternoon (see bus timetables in Flachau).
