Our Review

This is a great resort for anyone who likes to spend a whole day charging down the mountain never seeing the same piste twice.  It is the largest Slovenian resort we have skied to date and has some wide pistes where, when the conditions are good, there are lots of opportunities for ducking off piste into the trees.  Having said all this however, the piste preparation is much better in some of the smaller resorts.

Krvavec has great views over the Kamniska Alps and a large selection of bars and restaurants dotted around the mountain most of which seem to like playing music at top volume creating lots of singing and a lively atmosphere.  It can be good fun listening to Slovenians singing along to 80's pop!

Access to the mountain is from the car park by gondola so there can be delays at peak times.  Also on busy days the car park is very long so there can be quite a walk to the gondola if you arrive late (there is a shuttle bus).  This resort does tend to be busy as it is the closest to Ljubljana.
