Our
Review
Zell
am See is a large resort accessed from 3 possible base
stations. It has a variety of runs with good
access to wooded areas for off piste entertainment on
powder days. There
are some great on piste restaurants providing good
value Austrian fare and lively bars as well. On
clear days some of the slopes provide fantastic views
of the lake and village. Zell
itself is a pretty village once you get onto the back
streets rather than the main road running through the
town. There was a pretty Christmas market on one
of our visits selling roast chestnuts and gluhwein as
well as traditional foods and crafts. |
